The Secador® line of desiccator cabinets combines sleek design with durable construction to provide dependable storage for products sensitive to moisture and light. This Bel-Art Secador 3.0 Vertical Desiccator Cabinet can be the ideal solution for your specific dry storage requirements.
Crafted from tough Durastar® co-polyester, these cabinets block 99% of UV light and resist stains, crazing, and chemical damage. Amber models further reduce visible light exposure by over 50%, making them ideal for storing light-sensitive materials such as reagents, analytical standards, and research compounds, but we only have the clear model in stock selling as-is.
Designed for convenience, the large doors offer maximum access to the interior and feature a patented sealing system, secure tab latches, and loops for padlocks or tamper-evident seals. Perforated shelves promote air circulation, and there’s space beneath the bottom shelf for desiccant placement.
Each unit includes an easy-to-read digital hygrometer on the front door and a left-hinged, side-swinging door for quick access. The compact footprint 13.4 x 16.3″ (34.1W x 41.4 cmD) allows for efficient use of space, supporting stackable configurations of up to three units high.
