Description
The Corning 6795-611 Large Vessel Magnetic Stirrer have an 11 x 11 inch plastic (ABS) top and can stir large volumes of liquid with ease. These stirrers are designed for 5 gallon vessels (19L), but can stir up to 10 gallons and can handle many applications that previously required an overhead stirrer. This powerful stirring is achieved with a very compact design that conserves bench space. The stirrer uses a magnet that is constructed out of rare earth for exceptional coupling strength. The magnet’s strength also centers the stir bar quickly inside the vessel. They operate on 120V/60Hz and are UL and CUL approved to meet needs in North America and other locations with similar requirements. Heavy duty motor and rugged plastic (ABS) top will provide years of reliable service. -More compact and lower cost than competitive units. -UL/CUL approved. -1 year warranty. Corning 6795-611 Large Vessel Magnetic Stirrer Operating Conditions
The PC-611 is designed to be safe when used under the following conditions:
- Indoor use
- Altitude up to 2,000 meters
- Temperature of 0°C to 40°C
- Product should be placed on a flat surface at least 12 in. (30.5 cm) from walls, 48 in. (122 cm) from ceilings, and 12 in. (30.5 cm) from other stirrers if using multiple units.
- Maximum relative humidity of 80% for temperatures up to 31°C decreasing linearly to 50% relative humidity at 40°C.
- Main supply voltage fluctuations not to exceed ±10% of the nominal voltage.
- Installation Category II: Product is designed for connection to an electrical branch circuit inside a building with main supply voltage fluctuations not exceeding ±10% of the nominal voltage.
- Pollution Degree 2: Any foreign matter that may accumulate on or within the product during normal use is not electrically conductive.
